Anni communicates the importance of accessibility to clients clearly and persuasively, and works tirelessly to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate and succeed in society.

Atso Ahonen

Atso is a versatile accessibility expert and one of Riesa’s founders. He has a broad perspective on accessibility across different environments, with particular expertise in event accessibility. Atso has a strong ability to notice the details that make events genuinely accessible for all participants whether it’s festivals, seminars, or city events. He approaches accessibility holistically and finds practical solutions in situations where others may not yet know which questions to ask.

Joel Hentunen

Joel is an accessibility expert, one of Riesa’s founders, and leads sales, particularly in international projects. He has strong expertise in construction projects and accessibility within the built environment, and understands how to communicate the importance of accessibility across different cultures and operating environments. Joel excels at articulating the business potential of accessibility in a way that resonates with both domestic and international clients.

Mika Borg - CEO

Mika is Riesa’s CEO, one of the company’s founders, and the lead developer of the Accessibility Index. He has played a key role in building an index that brings concrete impact to accessibility work across different environments. Mika has a strong vision for a more accessible world and the ability to turn that vision into practical solutions both at a strategic level and in client work.

Ella-Riikka Isometsä

Ella-Riikka is an expert in accessibility within the built environment and has been involved in developing the Accessibility Index from its early stages. She has an in-depth understanding of the Index’s potential and knows how to apply it effectively in both practical sites and strategic decision-making.

Sofia Miikkulainen - Marketing Manager

Sofia is Riesa’s Marketing Manager, leading the communication of accessibility with courage, insight, and a human-centred approach. She is responsible for the company’s communications and brand development both in Finland and internationally.
